Share lived experience safely
Submissions are not open yet. This is the process we will use so contributors remain in control of how their words are presented.
How it will work
- You choose the topic, level of detail and whether to use a first name, pseudonym or remain anonymous.
- We explain what will be public and ask for explicit publication consent.
- An editor removes identifying details and checks the piece for clarity and safeguarding concerns.
- You see and approve the final version before publication.
- You can withdraw before publication and request removal afterwards. We will remove it from systems we control, while explaining that search caches or archived copies may take time to disappear.
Privacy and safeguarding
Never include another person’s name, workplace, school, exact location or private health information without their permission. Contributions are not a crisis or clinical service. If a submission suggests immediate danger, the process will clearly explain any limits to confidentiality and direct the person to appropriate urgent support.
Editorial principles
Experiences will not be presented as universal, diagnostic or medical advice. AI may assist with organisation only where consent and human review allow it; a person remains responsible for editing and approval.
A secure contact route, retention schedule and full contributor consent form must be in place first.
